The Boundaries
The city’s west border is the Mediterranean Sea. On the South it borders with the cities of Bat Yam and Holon. East border is Ramat Gan, Givatayim, Bnei Brak and Petah Tikva and on the north Ramat Hasharon and Herzliya.
The Transportation
Transportation in Tel Aviv is one of the busiest and complicated transportation systems in Israel due to the city’s metropolitan character. Every day hundreds of thousands of people enter the city and the city suffers from heavy traffic congestion and shortage of parking places. The city operates an array of urban bus lines such as Dan, “Eged”, “Metropolin” and “Kavim”, and in addition, there are intercity bus lines operated by the “Afikim” company.
